Central Location excellent, cleanliness superb,
Some staff quite miserable (clicking fingers really off putting), breakfasts very very basic. Felt like we were up to mischief sometimes. Quite expensive when we reviewed some other hotels.
closed to Venice San Marco, easy to find, very clean
The hotel was in a good location. When you get to the train station and walk outside, you can take the "water bus" (#1) to the stop "San Zacarriah." Once you get off the stop you walk to the right a little bit (before the bridge) and walk down a narror corridor to the hotel. The hotel was right by Saint Marc's Square and was convenient. I definately recommend a 24 hr "water bus" ticket. It is the best way to see the whole city.
The bed was the most awful bed I have ever slept in. I think I got maybe 30 minutes of sleep because the bed was so hard. I had a bruise on my hip from laying on it. The blankets were not soft at all and the towels were like drying off with a tablecloth.
i liked nothing at the hotel. the staff specially the girls siting there were most unfriendly and what an apology of a breakfast. very poor
liked nothing about the hotel. rude and unfriendly staff, poor breakfast bad rooms
The location was wonderful. Staff were helpful, some more than others. It was very clean. There is a computer in the lobby and guests can use it for free.
Television did not have (or had very limited) access to channels in English.
Very basic beeakfast
Very nice situated, 5 minutes to Riva Schiavoni and Plaza San Marco
Noisy Cale out of the window
The room was fine; the registration desk was manned by pleasant people.
First, the listing said there were a "few" steps up to the reception area. Actually there are 19--a full first floor. Not good! Second, the person who registered us said that the breakfast was an additional 4 euro per person. When we checked out, we were required to pay 5 euro. Not happy about that either. To the question below, I would recommend it,but I would make sure they understand the above comments.
location to pier and toursit spots
Overall stay was good, very clean, with proper equipments, 3 mins walk from Square that is why we could sit and enjoy the live performances of musicians till late night.
The hotel was well located to St Marks Square the water bus and lots of good shops It was clean and the staff were polite
I would have liked the full cost of the hotel to be available at the time of booking Not to be told there is a city tax to be included at the end of my stay .!!
Location is excellent....very convenient for St.Marks square...less than 5 minutes and the water bus to and from the airport. Room was on the 2nd floor (lift available) and just what we expected medium sized but with a large comfortable bed and shower/bathroom and was quiet and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and very useful being able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout as we had a very late evening flight. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Breakfast is available for an extra 5 euros a head per day...but was just coffee, bread and jam so we just went to a cafe just outside the front door of the hotel. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room....just very minor gripes.
Internet should be free, breakfast should also be included in the price
The hotel was in the heart of Venice Close to everything from shopping to eating Very clean fresh hotel and helpful staff Easy to find a few mins walk from the water bus stop & San Marco square Would definitely use this hotel again
Allocation is very good - only 5 min to St. Marco. Close to the transportation roots. We stayed at the room with terrace and had a chance to have breakfast on it. Room is not very big, but you will not spend much time in it.
